Chinmaya Kumar Das is known for his pre-eminent style soaked in his dedication towards the Odissi Dance. His Talent has been recognized since his childhood  and he got the privilege of learning the same under the tutelage of Guru Dr Jyotsna Rani Sahoo.

He is the most promising dancer of Soor mandir's repertory group and had completed his Nrutya Vishard from Sangeet Natak Academy, Bhubaneswar. 

He has been praised for his stage presence, expressive abhinaya, statuesque poses and technical excellence.  He is a recipient of Junior National Scholarship for Odissi dance form Centre of Cultural Resources and Training, New Delhi, Ministry of Culture, Govt of India, Nrutya Kala Suravi Award, Nrutya Vismaya Award, Nritya Nipuna Award and Many more.

 

He has potential as a solo artist and has performed in prestigious dance and music festival of our country Such as Konark Festival,  Soorya Festival, Mukteswar Festival, Kharavela Mahotsav, Brahma Sadhna and lot more.

Debasmita Mahana is one of the young talents in Soor Mandir’s repertory. She has been learning odissi dance under the guidance of Guru DrJyotsna Rani Sahoo.
She has performed extensively in many Festivals which includes Mukteshwar Dance Festival, International Dance Festival, Mahari Festival, National Trade Fair, Debadasi Dance Festival, Odisha Tourism Roadshow, Exotic Retreat Festival, Indian Road Congress IRC at Patna, Shri Nrutyotsav and many more.

Learning both practical and theoretical aspects of Odissi Debasmita wishes to nurture her talent for dance with utmost precision and care.

Debasmita Mahana
Mayuri

Initiated into the field of dance at a tender age, Mayuri Krishna Sahoo is an emerging young odissi dancer. She has been learning odissi under the guidance of Guru Dr Jyotsna Rani Sahoo since her childhood. She is an intense odissi dancer who has performed in many state and inter state festivals as a repertory member of Soor Mandir. Mukteshwar Dance Festival, Konark Dance Festival, International Dance Festival, Raja Mahotsav, Puri Beach Festival are some of her performances.
She has received the Junior National Scholarship from CCRT, Nrutya Kumudini, Nrutya Padmaja, Nrutya Nipuna, Kala Vidushi Sanman and many more as a soloist.

 

Mayuri is committed to sharpening her immense potential in the Odissi Dance form at Soor Mandir through her hard work and dedication.

Rajeswari Maharana is an avid practitioner and an hardworking member of Soor mandir's repertory group and has been shaping herself in the field of odissi dance over a decade.

She is blessed with an opportunity to take advanced training in Odissi under the guidance of Guru Dr. Jyotsna Rani Sahoo.

Being emerged from Soor mandir repertory family she had completed her Nritya Visharad from both Sangeet Natak Academy, Bhubaneswar and Pracheen Kala kendra, Chandigarh.

She has performed a lot of solo, duets and has also taken part in all Repertory group production. Performed extensively in all major festivals of our country like, Mukteswar Dance Festival, Konark Dance Festival, Soorya festival, Odissi International festival, Margi Festival and even presented her talent in abroad like Trinidad and Tobago, Honduras, Guatemala, Australia and San Salvador.

For her Optimal and flawless style of dance she has received numerous awards like Nritya khirabdi award, Yuva Pratibha samman, Devanshi Nrityashree samman and many more

Rajeswari Moharana

Shambhabi is a promising young dancer trained under the tutelage of Guru Dr Jyotsna Rani Sahoo since last 14 years in Soor Mandir Dance Academy, Cuttack. Her dedication to dance has been acknowledged by many rewards and accolades. She is a dedicated individual and her sincerity is apparent from her onstage performance. She aspires to devote herself to her art form and has already performed in numerous festivals as an repertory member, namely, Konark Dance Festival organised by Odisha Tourism, Mukteshwar Dance Festival, Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra Award Festival, Soorya Festival, World Dance Festival at Delhi, World Cultural Exchange at Bermo, Roadshow at Chennai, Puri Beach Festival & many more. As a soloist she has been awarded with Nrutya Padmaja, Devanshi Kala Ratna Sanman, Kalanjali Award, Gyana Jyoti Sanman and Nrutya Nipuna Award.

Academically she has completed her 12th from DAV Public School and has received the DAV's award for the Best Dancer and Student of the Year in 2019-20. She is pursuing law from Madhusudan Law University, Cuttack. She is committed to honing her immense potential in the Odissi art form at Soor Mandir through hard work and dedication while balancing the academic rigour of University. Shambhabi seeks blessings of her Guru for fulfilling her dreams with sheer vigor and commitment.

Smita made her ingress into the field of Odissi since her early childhood. She is a young upcoming dancer and a member of the internationally acclaimed Soor Mandir’s repertory. She is undergoing her training under Guru Dr Jyotsna Rani Sahoo at Soor Mandir.

She had performed in many state and inter state festivals like International Dance Festival, Konark Festival, Margi Festival, Puri Beach Festival, Chandrabhaga Utsav, International Trade Festival, Devadasi Dance Festival at Raipur World Cultural Exchange at Bermo, Chausathi Yogini Festival, Margi Festival, Raja Mahotsav, Mallhar Festival, Under Sixteen, Roadshow at Chennai are some of her accomplishment.

 Nrutya Vishmaya, Devanshi Kala Vidushi Samman, Nrutya Kumudini, Devanshi Kala Ratna Award,  are some of her achievements for being an intense odissi dancer.

Odissi has inculcated values like discipline and hardwork into her but more importantly taught her grace and modesty.

Smita Moharana
Sonali Das

Sonali Das began her training in Odissi at the age of 10 under the mentorship of Guru Dr Jyotsna Rani Sahoo. With her Guru's dedication and hardwork as a teacher, Sonali blossomed as a dancer.

Being a part of Soor Mandir Repertory family, she had accomplished her Visharad from Odisha Sangeet Natak Academy, Bhubaneswar And Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh.

She has given noteworthy performances in India and abroad both as a soloist and as a Repertory member of Soor Mandir.

Performed in numerous state and inter-state festivals like Konark festival, Mukteswar festival, Puri beach international festival, Kharvela festival, Odissi international, etc and also been to abroad i.e South America, Trinidas and Tobago, Guatemala,  San Salvador, Honduras and Malaysia for the performance.

For her assiduity towards her dancing career she has received abudant awards like Devanshi Kala Ratna Samman, Nritya Vidushi Samman,yuva prativa samman, Nritya kalashree Samman and a lot more.

Jachagyan Aradhna  started her training in odissi dance at a very young age of 10 at Soor Mandir, under the guidance of Guru Dr Jyotsna Rani Sahoo. Since then she has come a long way and performed at many prestigious platform as a Repertory member of Soor Mandir. Being a part of Soor Mandir she has performed in Mukteswar Dance festival, Puri beach festival, International Dance Festival, Konark Festival, Cuttack Baliyatra etc.

Received numerous awards such as Nrutya Padmaja, Kala Vidushi Award, Nrutya kala suravi Award and many more.

Jachagyan Aradhna

Inspired by her parents, Kajal panigrahi is an instrumental part of Soor Mandir Repertory group.  She has been learning odissi at Soor Mandir and has completed the Nrutya shastri purna from Odisha Sangeet Natak Academy, Bhubaneswar under the guidance of Guru Dr Jyotsna Rani Sahoo. She has also completed her master in performing arts from Sri Sri University.

As a profound dancer she has performed extensively in several states of India. Numerous awards and Honours have come her way including Yuva Pratibha Samman,  Devanshi Kala Vidushi Samman, Nrutya Thilakam Award and Many more.  Some of renowned festivals performed by her include Mukteswar Dance festival, Konark festival,  Megha Utsav, Puri beach Festival, Spring Festival, Pallavi Sandhya, GKCM etc.

KAJOL

Sweety Alex made initial ingrace into the dancing arena sincr her early childhood. She is a member of Soor Mandir's reportery group. The 10 years of training under the guidance of Guru Dr Jyotsna Rani Sahoo has eventually molded her into a graceful dancer. She has completed her Bhusan Purna under Odisha Sangeet Natak Academy. She has performed in Surya Festival, International Dance Festival, Mukteshwar Dance Festival, Konark Festival, Margi Festival, Puri Beach Festival, World Cultural Exchange Bermo, Raja Mahotsav and many more. She has received Nrutya Vishmaya, Nrutya Padmaja, Gyana Jyoti Award, Nrutya Nipuna and many more.

Roopsa Kahali is a disciple of Guru Dr. Jyotsna Rani Sahoo. She is a sincere and dedicated dancer associated with the Soor Mandir Dance Academy. Roopsa began her training in Odissi dance at an early age. She completed her Sangeet Prabhakar in Odissi dance from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad and is currently pursuing her Kovid in Odissi dance from Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya, Chhattisgarh along with her graduation in Economics. She has also performed in numerous state and national dance festivals like Kharvela Festival, Puri State International Festival,  Odissi International, among others.
